Monty Python ... Holy Grail... there is a line in the movie ... "help help I'm being repressed"... seen it?
I may have recorded it - or perhaps that was "The Meaning of Life".

I cracked up recently when Andy and I were watching some silly Monty Python skit.

I recall the joke was this:

My dog has no nose

- How does he smell?

awful!

Not sure why, but it had me just about peeing myself with laughter.

SUNDAY SURVEY 3/8/15:
1) Do you have a motto that you try to live by? Take care of each other, no matter what.

2) What's your favorite ice cream flavour? Mint chocolate chip on a sugar cone

3) When did you become YOU? Is there a time or event that 'set' your character? (this is borrowed from Walter--thank you Walter Oobleck )
I continue to evolve: marriage, motherhood, working, staying home, going back to working full time, becoming Catholic, losing loved ones, losing my mind, coming back around - these all brought something new out in me - just as recently as the dreaded November of 2014. I like the words Don Henley sings "all the things I thought I figured out, I have to learn again". This is a journey.

4) How many pairs of shoes do you own?
More than I thought - but it's because the Ogre buys them for me - 4 pairs of boots, 4 pairs of black dress shoes, 2 sexy strappy high heeled sandals, more summer time wedges than I can count in my head and many assorted flip flops, 1 pair of tennis shoes (I Zumba barefoot).

5) Why do you do the job you do?
My youngest daughter said to me one day, "Mom, you don't have a job, you have a lifestyle". She's right, it's just part of who I am. Like most everything I have ever done, I just sort of fell into it. But it's good for me, and I like to think I do good work there.

6) Do men think differently than women? Most certainly - several times a day he does or says something to validate that.

7) Do you believe in a soul mate? Love at first sight?
Love at first sight - no. Just one soul mate - no. There are people I have a deep connection to that I would call a soul mate, and my husband happens to be one, but I think you can definitely have more than one of those (soul mates, not husbands - unless that's your thing). There are many different ways to love someone forever.

8) If you could choose one car (price is no object), what would you choose?
I'm such a nerd, my favorite car ever was my red Dodge Caravan - I loved my mini-van - we called it the "mothership". I'd love to have it again. But I have always wanted to own a Subaru Outback too. That might be my next car, but I'm driving what I've got until it turns to dust.

9) Is there a song or artist that you think set your taste in music?
My tastes are so varied when it comes to music. That's a tough question. I think hearing live music in a dive bar in Memphis when I was 21 opened my mind to music I'd never heard before. And the older I get the more I discover.

10) How often do you read? Daily? Many times a day? Every so often?
I do read daily, sometimes I only make it 10 pages or so before I have to turn off the light and fall asleep. But it helps my mind to read every day.
