Cheese on cheese - I like it! I think Aldi has the best cottage cheese ever. It's consistently good - you know how sometimes other brands don't always taste the same? Or is it just me?I like cottage cheese heated up with balsamic vinegar and cheddar cheese on top.
Never heard of Aldi-is it a smaller curd and on the drier side? That's the only cottage cheese I even remotely like!Cheese on cheese - I like it! I think Aldi has the best cottage cheese ever. It is small curd, not too saucy. Aldi is a no-nonsense grocery chain. You have to bring a quarter to get your cart, but you get it back when you put your cart in place. You have to bring your own bags or buy them. They don't accept credit cards, only debit or cash. I like them for the things I can't get at Costco or I just don't want in huge quantities. Better prices than Wal-Mart. Many things are generic though, which I don't mind when it comes to dairy, bread, baking supplies and frozen veggies.Never heard of Aldi-is it a smaller curd and on the drier side? Oh yes - I love the sundried tomato pesto. I forgot about that. Their line of Italian stuff is great. I usually get the kid's lunch junk there too: mini blueberry muffins, peanut butter crackers, slim jims. You need to use their cottage cheese with your ketchup. I might try that. Very close to mac & cheese with ketchup.Aldi has some great basil pesto. Usually in a jar, great on breads or in pasta. They also have good quality noodles from italy or bronze cut ones inexpensive. Yum.. I will have to try their cottage cheese.
Wow! That's a place I would definitely frequent! It is small curd, not too saucy. Aldi is a no-nonsense grocery chain. It is interesting though, because the packaging looks close to Kraft or other brand names but are fairly good quality. It is small curd, not too saucy. Aldi is a no-nonsense grocery chain. I can't complain about anything I've bought there. They have great frozen asparagus. So many things I buy there every time I shop. I prefer their brand in many things. It is interesting though, because the packaging looks close to Kraft or other brand names but are fairly good quality.
