I am still working on Revival. This is a hard one to get through for me.

It is excellent, don't get me wrong there.

I've been looking for that one! Our library has #2 and #3, but someone lost #1. Hoping they get a new copy soon :) Is it any good?

I'm only 30 pages in, but so far, so good.

I haven't watched the series, so I'm going to do what I've done with Game of Thrones. Read a book, watch the season etc. I'll let you know how I get on.

As I understand it, the books compliment the show, but there is very little overlap. You'd probably be okay to watch the show simultaneously.

I am reading, Pimp: The Story of My Life
by Iceberg Slim.

Oh Gawd . . .:facepalm_smiley: . . .I like it . . .and it is about his childhood and his life as a pimp. There's lots of slang and mean people but remarkably the writing isn't that bad.

:facepalm_smiley: I can't believe how much I am enjoying this book. It is so raw and really tells in great details how to pimp a whore! There are more books by him and I think I'm going to read them.

It really is a skanky read . . .but I'm liking it . . .
