PROS
-Plot wise, altho there are some that ended without resolution, i just love everything in this except to the Tadeo Zapate arc
-good execution on how lawyer moves, especially street lawyers.
-MC and POV, Sebastian Rudd was an amazing character. Because of this, my top 10 favorite fictional character men in books will have an update. His one of the Anti-Hero, Arch Swanger, was also a good anti-hero, he would also have a place in my top 10 Villains.
-well-balanced narration, seriousness was mixed with sarcasm and comedy. That makes the novel went up and down so I never get bored of this novel.
-the chapter where Rudd anihilate the SWAT (c3 : Warrior cops) was the best chapter there. That gives me a good vibes and happy feeling actually. I'm bit happy of this because of the SWAT mistake in the chapter of killing innocents resulted in an appopriate verdict.
CONS
-Tadeo Zapate's arc ending was b*llsh*t, Tadeo was dumb*ss for not accepting the plea. Not to mention his brother, Miguel, is also Dumb*ss
-cliff hanger ending of Sebastian and Judith's fight for the visitation rights of their kid, Starcher. The resolution of this was left unresolve, it just leave me with Starcher felt upset because Rudd did not visit him because he's busy. And Judith just said "i'll see you in the court". This is the reason why i'm wishing for a short story sequel because i want to see the resolution of this
-i'm not taking the Sebastian-Naomi shipping. Their romance was a filler actually, because Sebastian just need to make love and i feel like, this chapter was made for a fan service. Not to mention, altho Sebastian show some motive that he find Naomi attractive, their romance became a forced one, just like my issue in Bill and Janey's romance issue in Mr. Mercedes
NEUTRAL
-the ending was bit rush, but a decent and good ending. I'll take it.
Note : my rating may change, depend on my re-read in future
