I registered for the Pedometer Challenge that starts on Monday January 30th.

We are a team of four competing against other teams to see who can get the most steps done. I think it lasts for four weeks (although I honestly cannot remember at this point) - this is part of an initiative at work to get people moving more.

There are also 'consolation' prizes as well, so even you don't win the big prize you still get some sort of memento to keep.

Last time I did this challenge a few years back we all got a reusable cold drink cup
:m_walk:

Plus by becoming more active maybe my blood pressure will go down (and perhaps my yoga pants will get looser!)

I had a cup of coffee and a slice of heated up banana bread with butter on it. I saw a bloke I haven't seen for like two years and he said he's been living in Gosford. I was reading an article in the 'Wheels' magazine about the history of the Ford versus Holden rivalry. Then I'm going to read some part of the book on history.

I didn't get all my work done at work this week. I have about 2 hours of stuff I need to do, and I don't want to. I promised myself I wouldn't work on Saturdays in 2017 and here I am having to do it. But, I had to leave the office yesterday for 2 hours to deal with personal things, so I guess it balances. Still, UGH. And then I have to Costco shop, on a Saturday - which is horrid. I need to catch up with y'all. It's coming soon. I can feel it. Maybe tonight. I'm trying to deflate my body a bit and am going alcohol free for a few weeks. I wonder how that will go? I don't drink much, but knowing I won't be having any is making me a bit twitchy. Sigh.
