Just finished watching Desperation. Pretty good, although a little cheesy at times. And Ron Perlman was perfect as Collie. TAK!!!!

Going to stain deck. Then supper, then watch movie with family then finish up the fireman by Joe hill. Probably won't finish tonight.
I just finished where they talk to Florida thru the ouija board and Jude found out she didn't commit suicide. My favorite part of book so far. He figures it out then just says, " That ****er, that ****er." Great part.

Went for an oil change then drove over to Value Village.
I bought a first edition of The Regulators by Richard Bachman in excellent condition, a Doubleday edition of Salem's Lot (both were hardcover) and they both still have their dust jackets.
I also picked up six pocket books for my collection - The Dark Half, Insomnia, Duma Key, Lisey's Story, Cell and Black House (which is actually Stephen King writing with Peter Straub).
Such a deal (buy four books, get one free!)
I tucked away three others in a lower shelf and hopefully they will still be there when I go back.
Somebody working there has mixed up all the books - Sai King was mixed in with Dean Koontz, V.C. Andrews [
] and even whatsherface (the one who writes about sparkly vampires - Stephanie somebodyorother

I'm reading it slowly but I'm having difficult tuning out the noise from mom's TV, the text notifications, and I only have so much time before Alexander's nap is over.

I had to go grocery shopping to a couple of stores today. Got it done in no time, cause it is so hot outside. Got to a real feel of 111F out there. To hot to even go in the pool.

Yup. About 200 yards from SwiftDog Manor!
Went shopping. Mikey received some later birthday money and took him to choose his gift. He got a DS 2,a couple games for it. Harry Potter collectors edition, and some clothes.
While wishing Phoenix had a Friendly's, I had a yummy dinner. Mom made creamy saffron chicken mmm. She used real saffron
(expensive to boot)To plan my evening further is foolhardy. (Ha broke my own guideline about infinitives!)
