Karl. 41. Not married, not single either (to use the old phrase, we "live in sin"...'cept there's nowt sinful about it). British, as you can probably tell.
I'm a writer/editor these days, but I've been an accounts clerk, (mostly) semi-pro footballer (soccer player) and soldier (part-time) in the dim and distant past. I've been published a few times but I almost guarantee you won't have heard of me.
Hobbies: Reading, watching films and TV (SF, horror, historical/science docs, other stuff that seems remotely interesting), sport (football - US and proper
- snooker, pool, darts, golf). Exercising bores me rigid even with a good book and/or music so it's not really a hobby, but I do it anyway - as little as possible, but I do it. Music-wise, I'm a bit weird: I prefer 90s indie and grunge, but I also own a fair bit of 80s synth stuff, 70s rock and heavy metal, 80's rock like Guns 'n' Roses, and pretty much nothing that's from later than 2004.
First SK book:
Insomnia (was damn near almost my last, too).
Favourite SK book:
Bag of Bones
Sentimental favourite: I've got to say
Misery, because it was the first book my gf got me when she discovered I was a Stephen King fan, and I didn't have the heart to tell her I already had it.
