I found a HB copy of The Bachman Books today--first one I've seen in real life (not on Amazon, EBay, or on someone else's shelf :D), so I picked it up. No dust jacket, so I'm iffy. Still, for a couple of bucks, it was probably worth it.
That's great! I think that one is hard to find - I only have the paperback copy.

I have two hardcover copies without dust jackets and both in fair condition at best. :(

How long does it take you (in good weather) to drive to Grand Forks?
Hmmm - let's see - when we went down to Ohio we could not leave until around 6 p.m. so it was getting dark.

According to the internet it should take two hours and 40 minutes, but it all depends on traffic, road conditions etc.

We prefer to stay at the CanadInns in Grand Forks plus there is now a Tim Hortons right across the street for morning coffee!

Same here--a trade PB that I've had for quite a while. Before that, I had a mass market PB that died--lol.

This one is in good condition, so that's decent. I don't have multiple copies of anything but The Stand (one original version in HB--Book club, so I'd like to replace that one--one uncut version, and a PB for sentimental reasons. I killed at least 5 PB copies of that book before I got a HB :p) and The Gunslinger (one original, one revised). Everything I have is readable (and well-loved :D), so one copy does me fine.
