Hang onto this one sweetheart- there's a TON of great authors and stories inside and not that many copies were printed.Scored a first edition hardcover of Legends: Short Novels by the Masters of Modern Fantasy-includes The Little Sisters of Eluria (The Dark Tower) by SK in VG/like new condition for a little under $7!
Took a trip to Seattle and came home with a 1st hardback of Black House that's been signed by Peter Straub! Got it at Goodwill for $2.99! Also picked up the trade paperback of Bev Vincent's lovely The Dark Tower Companion from Half Price Books.
REALLY?! I scored a genuine collectible?
It will be someday. I doubt if more than 25,000 copies were printed- pretty small print run for a King novella, along with all the rest of those 'name' authors.
Yay me! The last time I was this excited was when John told me I scored with my Secret Windows purchase!
Feel like scum, because I have not read it yet. But I am patient.

IT press kit from Bett's. This thing is much cooler than I was expecting! I have a few press kits and I think this one is a promo for both the movie and PB release. It has a huge folded poster, 8x10's of the actors and scenes from the movie, a couple of typed letters from what looks to be the publisher saying what will be included with the PB release, and a little fold out cardboard book talking about SK. David at Bett's is great! I asked before purchasing if he knew whether or not it was a complete kit and he said he wasn't sure so he knocked 20 bucks off of the price. Upon seeing this I would have paid the original price!
Cool! Why don't you send him some 'beer' money? He really is a great guy. He's definately one of the best out there for rare King items. I've made three or four major King purchases from him over the years and have always, always been happy with the whole transaction.
I'm still trying to save money to buy a signed SK book from him!
I'm still waiting for the new upated & signed DT Companion ...which I ordered nearly TWO YEARS AGO! I'm sure Bev is just as frustrated with the wait, but he's probably too polite to comment here on it.

Ahhh, yes. Remember those folks that ordered Legends had to wait almost 13 years?!
I ordered my copy on 03/12/13 from the publisher, Cemetery Dance. I'm also still waiting. I'm sure it will be worth the wait, though.
