I was lucky, in that my parents always supported my interests and creativity--hell, it was mama muskie who turned me on to King and horror movies. My dad always had faith in my talents (writing, drawing), but was always too skittish to watch horror flicks ( the sissy!). Love em both, bless their hearts--always been open minded to my madness, despite being hard-core conservatives.

As for F.V.K.s, I caught that flick on the late late show on some channel out of Chigago back when I was about ten, when we got our cable from the old huge satillite dishes that you'd have to move and point at each satillite, so we got local stations from all over the nation, (as well as free HBO, Skinimax, The Movie Channel, and (blush) American Triple XXX (raunchy stuff I'd have to watch late at night when everyone else was sleeping...ugh, digressing, sorry).

But yeah, loved that Fearless Vampire Killers ever since.

Yes, saw it when it had its first run on the theaters in sweden. Great movie. Both the children are excellent in the main parts. Outshine the adult actors by miles i thought. For me it is not an 8, it is a 9 or 10 of ten. Have you read the book?? John Ajvide Lindqvist. Also very good book.

I saw #39. The Purge 2: Anarchy and #40. Poltergeist The classic from 1982. Can i count them on my list? it was nighttime but it was after midnight so technically it was november first but since the dawn wasn't close yet i thought i might count them..... Is that OK?

4) The Shining

Friggin hell, I have watched this movie that many times this year. It's lost its spookiness a bit, I need to give it a rest. Still a great movie though, and man, Kubrick was a genius, regardless of the liberties he took with the book.

5) Child's Play.

I'm pissed off. I wasted 7 dollars on this crap. Brad Dourif was cool, but the rest, man....

6) Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me

Loved it even more this time around. The bit with Harold still freaked me out. :D
