I am happy today because it is our 13th wedding anniversary - we got married on July 16, 2005 over on the Isle of Arran in Scotland.
Wow - we don't look this this anymore! Yikes

Probably no one here looks like they did 13 years ago. But I bet you're still a lovely couple (whenever you do get to spend time together).
Congratulations! I hope you have many more happy years together.

Congrats on being un moderated. Glad the sound of sirens is not so terrifying anymore.First of all, I'm no longer moderated, yay! Not that it was bad, I didn't mind at all. But I couldn't post in fast moving threads or forum games, because there's no point in it if your post appears after five other replies have buried your message (especially in games). Now I can!
The other happy is a little odd, but it's a happy nonetheless. So as a kid, I was terrified of the civil defense siren. It got better as I got older, I could handle the monthly tests, but I was still terrified that that thing would go off for real. Up until last night.
...We were woken up by that godawful sound at 4 AM. At first I was paralysed, but then reason kicked in. I got out of bed (calmly! ), turned on the computer, and went to our local news site to see what was wrong. It was "just" a huge fire that was spreading dangerous fumes. Why is that a happy? Because I didn't freak out, and it wasn't the end of the world! I always thought that if the sirens went off, it would mean that complete mayhem had broken out, and my life would be over. Last night I found out that the sirens can go off, and we will still be okay. I am no longer afraid of it.
And it is loud....they usually set off one of those sirens when I log on here.....
....yeah, I’m about as subtle as a crowbar between the eyes....I'm still new here, but I'm beginning to see why your entrance is usually accompanied by sirens, haha!
And thanks Spideyman!
