The other year when we sponsored a German exchange student she talked about having turkey as she’d never had it before. The next day when I was taking the kids to school I pulled over on the side of the road as there was a flock of turkeys in the field. I told her if she wanted turkey to run out and grab one. She looked at me like I really meant it. We did have turkey for dinner one evening but she didn't care for it.In sweden we always have ham for christmas. A special christmas ham! Turkey hasn't made a breakthrough here yet. And we celebrate christmas on the 24,th, christmas eve. Thats when the big eating, drinking, giftgiving, candyeating and everything else takes place. Christmas day is for leftovers and enjoying your gifts. Some actually go to church......
