Lithium-ion 56 volt 30” cut battery riding mower.

I needed something to plug my phone into in order to listen to music while mowing. This mower has 2 USB ports. Bought it last night. Overkill, much? :facepalm_smiley:

I feel so Forrest Gump. :)

A return with less than 15 minutes riding time on the thing. The original purchaser just didn’t like it. Originally $2,499, I got it for $281.25 because the retailer just wanted it off the floor before the weekend… Needs to make room for snow blowers. I tooled around with it last night… so much fun.

Actually, I haven’t gone green. My gas mower is going in the shop because I bent the deck shaft, steering shaft and damaged the deck housing. Probably will be in for a month. Who'd have guessed riding mowers are built to withstand someone mowing like Evil Knievel. This will be a short term alternative and then I’ll find someone that wants it. And make a little profit in the process won't hurt.

Three position ceiling fan light switch. The Father-In-Law’s light switch in his kitchen ceiling fan went out months ago. We just recently found out. So this past weekend the wife said I should pick one up and repair it for him. I said I’m no electrician. She said it should be easy. I said for a electrician, maybe. She said why then do I have all those tools. Dang, I guess she had a point. I can't say they're for people who know what they're doing asking me for specific tools and me not having them. So Sunday morning I dust off my electrical tool bag and head down and figured being electrocuted was a better alternative than being shamed by the wife. It ended up being rather easy to fix, but why are they designed to be worked on with hands the size of a 10 year old? The only real problem I encountered was getting all those danged wires back into the housing of the thing when I was done. A major PITA.

Yup. Ceiling fans are a pain.

You haven’t lived until you’ve try chasing down a short in a 3 way circuit that uses 2 two wire cables instead of a 3 wire cable!

Nice deal...

If only for a month...

I have a battery powered chain saw/pole saw/leaf blower and weedeater...

Leaf blower is nice and weedeater won't leave you with that trembling arm for half a day like gas powered...

Chain saw is ok for trimming up with...

Pole saw is the bomb though...

Makes trimming out around treestand for deer season so easy...

GASP!!

Oh yes to the pole saw. Fl overgrowth during rainy season and presto I can see the drive way again. (lots of live oak brush that tend to grow at lightning speed.).
