Another amazing artist. I can't afford these people's work, so I try to do my own little version which pales in comparison but creative nonetheless.

Oh my Dana, your bird is really gorgeous! I love the detail, you layered the feathers perfectly. Did you use a polyurethane sealer? How long will a gourd last without rotting? I looked at the link too... Her creations are fantastic.

Is the ability to upload pics from your computer to posts a thing of the past? Do I need to move my pics to an image hosting service like PhotoBucket?

Yes, you need the URL--not sure if there are any plans to change this. (or if we even can?)

I liked the ability to upload pics from the computer to posts (y'know, like how we now put images in the avatars) but if dropping the ability unburdens the servers, its probably a good thing. I have no more questions today lol

Managed another stocking

I loved this stocking. Counted cross stitch seems so intricate and time consuming but the results are just beautiful. Love that AnnaMarie.

For you arista because I love them too. They held up really great all summer long, although the sun did fade the pink just a bit.

I just got those plastic pink flamingos and then waited for those glassy sparkly gems to go on sale and I used coupons. The ones that peel and stick, but, I also used an outdoor plastic glue to make sure they stayed in place and I just started laying them down. Honestly, they were really pretty.

The flamingo is gorgeous. What a fun idea!
