In some cases, even given the Bill of Rights, groups have to request a permit to hold a public demonstration which can be refused so there is a legal standpoint and precedence that not ALL protests are given carte blanche to assemble in a public setting.
I believe that the group in Michigan had a permit, but legally you cannot, I don't think, refuse someone a right to demonstrate permit, again wouldn't that go against the right to protest your elected officials? Now, if this was in the UK, it's a different story.

Regardless of the morality of their actions, the original point I was making is that from a Legal standpoint it is impossible for any Government sanctioned force to break up the protesters, becaus of the Bill of Rights, the Constitution, etc. So, their is no legal mandate to stop them, so long as they are peaceful, which they are. The Bill of Rights, even in a pandemic, is still law, regardless.
Sure they can. And you can fight it in court, probably win, and go bankrupt in the process with legal fees. That's the rub!

The wife and I have been having a heated discussion about wearing masks. She refuses to do it and chides me for wearing one. (Luckily she hasn’t gone out of the house for the most part in weeks). I say I’m somewhat doing it for myself because of my health issues but more so for others as I don’t want to chance getting someone else sick. She says... well I’m not wearing one! I said fine but don’t call me to bail you out of jail, cause I won’t do it. I’m in the doghouse once again.
She's being irresponsible IMO (and apparently yours :) ). I wear a mask when I'm around others knowing full well that it's not for my protection. I'm doing it just in case I've become asymptomatic and want to do my part to protect others. If EVERYONE would do that, then it would greatly cut down on the chances that airborne particles are being spread around which is, as at least some of us know, a major source of the spread of infection. As you may have gathered from my responses today, I'm so effing sick and tired of people with their it's only about me and what I want attitude that crosses the age demographics from young to old, that I could scream. :mad2: Good thing it's my Friday so I won't have many more hours to inflict my cheery mood on you all here.

So you're not screaming at me? This might be a banner day... I'll have to circle it on the calendar. :)

Difficult, but not impossible. Would entirely depend upon the individual circumstances so decided on a case by case basis.
