Thanks, DiO.Sunny, if you are an independent contractor who collects a 1099-MISC form you need to look into the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program). You can receive funds equivalent to 2.5 times your monthly wages plus some other things. You would need to apply through a bank that is a Small Business Administration lender. You can call them and they will help you navigate it. If you use the money you receive as intended all or part of it will be forgiven.
