ghost19 - I just tried a new recipe called Graham Cracker Toffee
This is what it is supposed to look like
I am afraid to post a picture but mine looks pretty freaky!
The brown sugar and butter mixture started to firm up a bit after I put the pecans in it so when I tried to pour it over the graham crackers it was a bit too thick.
I tried to rescue it by taking the crackers that got pushed to the side and placing them on top, then sort of whacking them with a small kitchen hammer (the kind you use to tenderize meat)
After baking in the oven for 10 minutes it did look a bit better
I'm taking a big pan of this to the Pow Wow tonight - I hope it tastes better than it looks!
