Hello all,

A bit of intro on myself. I am a professional software developer, but when I’m not writing software, I love to make music!

I first became obsessed with electronic music in the early 80’s by being exposed to the fascinating music of John Carpenter, and later Tangerine Dream which are two of my biggest influences. Additional major influences include Carbon Based Lifeforms, Enya, Deep Forest, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, and Christopher Franke. Most of my work reflects those major influences.

My style is mostly Ambient, Symphonic Electronica, and Soundtrack

I'm also a big Stephen King Fan, and especially of The Dark Tower series.

I've started creating a series of albums that are inspired by The Dark Tower books, with the first one titled "Gunslinger - A Journey to The Dark Tower in Music: Volume 1"

If you would like to find out more about this one, and hear samples from it, let me know!

I don't know why it's taken me this long to sign up on the message board, I guess for a brief while I forgot the face of my father.

Long days and pleasant nights!

Keith

great work mate

Danke! I'm glad you liked it!

I needed a theme for Jake that was soft and sweet and quite frankly what I hoped to be beautiful with every intention of re-using at the pivotal moment when Roland makes his decision.

I had some early listeners to the album who were unfamiliar to the story, and just about every one of them pointed out that even though they liked this song, they didn’t understand initially how the album would have two somewhat dark songs and then this “sweet” song came in.

Those who know the story of The Gunslinger and the Dark Tower know the importance of Jake within it. I tried to create something that expressed the character of the young boy Jake and how he was tormented, knowing he was just a card in the game.
