Winnipeg had an incredible flood back in 1997 - it was called "The Flood of the Century" - we are just a few hours north of Grand Forks, North Dakota

We've got another winter storm approaching. They started talking about it last night. I got my supplies today. One thing I do everyday and that is check the weather. My work shift starts on one day and ends the next and the weather changes is something I have learn to expect and prepare for. Very few people were buying supplies today . . .our temps over the weekend were in the 60s . . .

I really don't think it's going to be as bad as two weeks ago.

It's 53F/12C up from 42F/6C. Full and strong sun, so will easily make 70F/21C.
Should be getting the tail end of that next winter storm around Wed. night/Thurs and that will bring back the 30's at night.

Madam, be very careful. Heard this morning they think 3/4 in. ice. A road worker was staying how they are "prepared" this time with trucks scheduled to sand and salt. He used the plural so I assume Atlanta has more than one truck! Be safe.
