Would just be round 2 for us as we missed the storm last weekend. Still snowing here and winter storm warning is in effect until 10 PM. Hard to tell without going out with a ruler to measure (and I have no plans to do that ) but would guess we have 8-10" so far. Haven't heard an updated weather forecast today but they weren't getting into specifics last night about when/how much we'd get with the storm next week. Very discouraging after having such nice weather the past week or so and seeing the snow melting away. Bangor was pretty much bare ground and I had large patches of bare ground in some spots in my yard but this is March in Maine and we often get storms like this. Almost like Mother Nature getting winter out of her system before finally giving in to spring. I just remind myself that I won't have to be doing this for too many more years.Moderator -- how are you surviving? Did you hear the prediction? Possible round 3 due Monday! I have a spare room.
I wonder if OoO has laryngitis??
Those teeny tiny posts are started to get to me! (Hope your weather improves soon)

Amen to that! Still snowing here and not supposed to stop until around 6 tonight. We've got at least 2' of new snow already on top of the foot we had last Thursday. Now they're saying we might be getting another one next week. *sigh* Don't want to be tempting the fates but the only power outage we had was a brief off/on this morning so can at least be thankful for that. Even though we have a generator, it's a lot easier when we don't have to use it.Massachusetts' had itself a really rough two weeks;
Three Nor'easters blew through here, as Mother Nature sneaks
One last blast of winter in with two more feet of snow
Covering the broken trees that fell six days ago.
'though we got our power back before this latest storm
And we made it through unscathed this time, we're not the norm;
Lots of people on the Cape are sitting in the dark
As the temperatures descend below the freezing mark.
Thank God for the power crews who came from out of town
Back at work replacing all the lines these storms brought down.
'though there is a lot of shoveling I must complete,
Once I'm done I get to come inside to lights and heat.
I know that we'll get through this because we always do...
Blizzards in New England in the Spring? We've seen a few.
Doesn't mean we have to like it though - unless you ski.
Most of us are sick of winter here... Including me!
Aw she is cute.I'm at that "fed up with winter" phase! I swear the older I get, the less tolerant I am of cold weather. I don't mind the dusting of snow, it's the constant icy wind that blasts me in the face every time I step outside! My dog Miska, on the other hand, loves the cold and eats as much snow as she can!

Wasn't she a rescue? You guys really hit the jackpot with her - she's adorable!I'm at that "fed up with winter" phase! I swear the older I get, the less tolerant I am of cold weather. I call her a "pre-rescue": she was with a family that was overwhelmed with animals (dogs, cats, llamas, you name it) but they recognized that she needed more love and attention than they could ever give. It was a win-win, because we have lots of love to give her!Wasn't she a rescue? You guys really hit the jackpot with her - she's adorable!
Okay, she looks fantastic! BUT... is that goops in her eyes? Clean those goops out of her eyes. I can't stand to see pets with goops in their eyes!I'm at that "fed up with winter" phase!
