Got an offer letter! Seems pretty good. The commute is longer than my normal one. (right now it's from my bedroom to my home office or if I am having coffee, to the kitchen from my home office). The money, job and opportunity is better though.

I GOT THE JOB!!!
Last night I was all like this:
And this morning the phone rang, and then I was like this:
The woman who called was very apologetic, said she'd been meaning to call but was busy with end-of-year stuff, preparing budget for next year, yadda yadda yadda. I barely heard anything she said, I was so excited. I drove to take my drug screen this morning (good thing I declined the crack pipe last night), and then did some celebratory Christmas shopping.
Thank you, everyone, for your advice and good vibes. I called on Friday, and didn't get a call back. Then I called yesterday morning, and heard nothing the rest of the day. As you can imagine, I was vexed and miffed. The phone rang this morning and I assumed it was a telemarketer, but it was THE JOB OFFER.
It is truly a Christmas miracle, and I am crazy grateful.
