No idea, it doesn't do that when I click Not Now. That screen totally goes away for me. Same question--are you doing this on your phone? Jordan said FB might not work as well on those.Within a few seconds a big Face Book thing comes up and all but blocks the screen. I clicked on Not Now but it doesn't get much smaller. How can I see the images without that thing in the way?
Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your special night with us. So glad you both have signed books!Had a wonderful experience tonight in Sewickley! Stephen was charming and funny and had the crowd in stitches! He told an entire short story none of us had ever heard before (as yet unpublished) and told some great anecdotes about his times in Pittsburgh while shooting Creepshow, and also did an extensive Q&A!
Best of all, both my brother and I got signed copies of "End of Watch"! How lucky is that!
So last night in PA was great. Ran so much better than the previous night in NJ. It really was like night and day. The town itself is very beautiful and has such a nice small town feel to it. Parking was free on campus and I got a spot like 20 feet from the front door. Everything from entry to ticketing, seating and time event started was handled very professionally. You could really tell that there was a deep appreciation from the penguin book shop staff for Mr. Kings appearance. The staff was readily available, helping everyone and even making rounds when everyone was seated to ask if they were happy and everything was ok. The owner kept the intro brief but very sincere. There was a small slide show before the introduction put together by the staff showing the dedication of the fans that spent the night to get tickets (myself being one of them) and then the event started.
The venue was very intimate and I have to think even though I was up front that every seat in the house was a good seat. Stephen seemed way more comfortable during this event than the previous. He told some of the same stories as the night before and also some new ones, particularly focusing on the times he had in Pittsburgh and with Romero and filming of Creepshow. I really enjoyed that a lot as I am a huge fan of Romero and Creepshow. I think probably the biggest treat of this night, was he didn't read from the new book but choose to show us all a painting on his ipad and read what he said was a short story that he has never shared or read before with us that the painting inspired!! So if I understood right, this was a unpublished never before read story that we all got to experience that night read by Stephen himself!! Now that's pretty damn cool if you ask me!!
The event was flawless and I am so glad I choose to also attend this one as well as it was very rewarding. And on the way out, getting the books I had two tickets so I got two books and as I opened them both, what do I see but Mr. King's John Hancock TWICE!!! You can imagine I was thrilled. Made the five hour drive home that much easier.
So Two days, 16 hours of driving, two events, four tickets, three signed books, and memories that will last forever, and I didn't miss a day of work!! I even impressed myself!!
I hope everyone else who has the chance to see him on this tour has as good as an experience as I did.
I am going to post a few photos below of each event and my books.
Anyone else that went to the events I would like to hear your take on it all.

Thanks for sharing the great pics! (Yeah, I don't want to drive in New Jersey again, either. They have these turn around spots called jug handles. Confusing and ill-conceived.) My friends' seat turned out to be so close! They allowed photographs and didn't tell people to turn off their flashes. You would think people would know better right? Wrong!
Mr. Kings hair was looking rather spiffy! And they had an organ player who cranked out some Star Wars and Horror Movie themed music. That guy was also pretty great! (And then him and his organ.....sunk down through the floor!)
P.S. I will never ever ever drive in New Jersey.Ever! My friend did great though.I'm not going to comment on driving through Massachusettes.
That is a great picture of you and Scott! So I had an awesome time last night and finally had time to absorb a little about the Dayton show. It was cool seeing fellow message board member (see below photo). Stephen King was funny and told stories that related to Ohio, along with an interesting story about tire change and Bruce Springsteen. During the Q&A, my question as read (although he had already really answered it while talking!)
I guess the only silly thing at the event is that I was sitting next to someone who keep commenting every time Stephen King said something, not too quietly either! It wasn't too distracting, but enough, however, not enough to spoil my time. I was just happy to be there. I got a bonus of a signed book!

Sounds like you had a fun experience. Thank you for sharing. Signed book and meeting Scott too- wow!! Ka in play.
Wow, a signed book and meeting the GNT. Looks like you got your keepsake and meet-ith, too. What's even more crazy, Scott was in my row! How weird is that! I should have brought cookies!!
