Welcome. I don't think IT needs a sequel.

There shouldn't be a sequel. I'm not a party pooper, but that story has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Any attempt to make a sequel would invalidate all the accomplishments and sacrifices of the Losers (as well as others). It would also make a liar out of the Other which just won't do. What could be done, I think, is a prequel which takes place as an expansion of one of the dark interludes of Derry's history. An expanded story of the period of the destruction of the Kitchner Iron Works might work. I've often wondered if an earlier group of people that chose to stand against the monster died there (among the many). While they may not have stopped It, we clearly don't know what happened fully or why. Part of me tells me there are a lot of layers to that onion.
Ditto.

I'm thinking more a movie sequel. Since the Turtle is Pennywise's natural enemy, Flo & Eddie could be the heroes of the saga. Has there been a SK comedy made yet? Give it the Bill and Ted treatment. Pick characters (and the actors who played them) from other SK works to help in an epic adventure to defeat It. And make it a musical while we're at it. :)

Maybe a sequel to IT, but a prequel to Insomnia. Both stories take place in Derry....so awesome connection number #1. We can assume that both It and the Crimson King come from the Dark Tower universe. So what about a story that tells us what happened in Derry after the events of IT, but before Insomnia. Why that town? What was the slow build up of malevolent forces? Are IT and the Crimson king related....like evil relatives????

Bahaha!!!! Epic win xD

Maybe Pennywise's long lost child is named Nickelwise, and HIS child is Dimewise, Quarterwise, 50-cent-piece-wise, Dollarwise, etc. They'll be making sequels til the year 3500.

It would certainly be fun if SK ever wrote a novel in which all the best (or worst, depending on your perspective) villains banded together!

This is such a terrible, horrible, wretched, repulsive idea that I've no choice but to click Like on it.

You are a diabolical fiend for putting those images in my mind.

Is Stephen alive or dead? When he pretend publish a great silo of fiction again?
...I feel safe in saying you're not a natural born speaker or user of the English language-which allows a lot of leeway in translation, so the strange query is kinda comical, but rest assured-King is still plugging along quite well....

How about an alternate take in which Pennywise crosses paths with Randall Flagg , The version from The Stand. What a very unhealthy meeting that would be , they would definitely hate each other. :)

That's pretty funny, Flo & Eddie! Actually, you bring up a very good point -- there probably will be a King parody soon. One would assume the team behind the Scary Movie parodies will tackle all of the King projects in recent years -- as well as Stranger Things. I'd almost believe there is a script being pitched in Hollywood on that count, maybe by the Movie team itself. (That's the Wayans brothers, correct?) Either way, I think DiO'Bolic is ahead of the curve on this; good call.
