....well that's just plain goofy!....I just ponder why people would return gift cards? Really -you can pass this along to someone who likes that particular store or a needy person.

I didn't think it was possible, either. Stores usually tell you when you purchase it that it's non-refundable except for store credit (which is, basically, just using the card, lol).I didn't think it was possible to return gift cards. When I get a gift card I won't use, I donate it to a non-profit organization to raffle off.
That is an excellent idea! I usually just pass them on. I will do this from now on!I didn't think it was possible to return gift cards. When I get a gift card I won't use, I donate it to a non-profit organization to raffle off.
Yes..or you may be some kind of weird mutant who heals spontaneously due to banana bread residue on blades..my advice, keep a loaf of banana bread handy...A moment ago I was cutting a loaf of banana bread with one of those baker bread knives and cut open my thumb. The soft pad on the end flushed with red and the meat flipped back like the flesh of an apple. I think the bleeding has stopped. It hurt for a minute or two but no more...is that normal?
I just tagged you in a Holiday Treats thread from 2013 where peanut butter fudge is discussed.
Thanks! I'll look.....can't hurt
Yeah.....I clear the history daily.....OCD that way
Keeps the porn viruses to a minimum as well...............
Tagging and recipes and porn viruses - oh my!Did it use marshmallow fluff? I have one that my mom made when I was growing up and is the only one I use when I make it.
....it is indeed, because you severed some tiny nerve endings....you will have a small dead spot at the site after it heals, until the "circuitry" re-routes itself......A moment ago I was cutting a loaf of banana bread with one of those baker bread knives and cut open my thumb. I just checked it, you're absolutely right. It is a white spot of dead skin, sealed with dried blood like black sap...sorry, but this is a SK site, lol. Were you a medic once? It seems like I remember you talking about your working in a hospital.....it is indeed, because you severed some tiny nerve endings....you will have a small dead spot at the site after it heals, until the "circuitry" re-routes itself......

What do they taste like, I wonder?View attachment 18844
Has anyone had a lychee before? I recently learned of them and apparently they are grown in Florida (among other tropical locales). I do remember things like kumquats and purple yams, and drinking the sweet water from green coconuts. Our neighborhood was filled with interesting flora and fauna but a lychee tree was not one of them. Spideyman fljoe0
The guy on YouTube said they are sweeter than a grape and have a similar texture. I'd like to know, too. He pronounced it 'lee-chee', by the way. What do they taste like, I wonder?
