Great jump! Was a busy Saturday at my house. Alison had a track meet all day...
Personal best jump at this meet of 12' even. I took pictures of her races too but those are very hard to get to turn out right.
Then Evan had prom Saturday night.

What a great tradition! I'm guessing you weren't alone with losing it. (((Cat)))Friday was our last day of school but also Ty's last day in elementary school. They had the traditional clap-out ceremony at the end of the day. All the students and parents line the hallway and the 6th graders parade through to applause, balloons, music, flowers.
It was very emotional! My baby...all my babies are growing up. I do not have any kiddos in grade school anymore.
Anyway, I was ok until I started noticing some of the kiddos were crying. It is hard leaving grade school for big, bad junior high! And Ty was struggling with holding back tears too, that's when I really lost it.
Here are a couple pics.

Yes there is a lot less parental drama! I just dread all the teen drama that takes over!Super photos. Everyone looks great. Sweet tradition and hard to watch them change and evolve.
I was super friggin' excited when my kids got out of elementary school.
The teen stuff can get pretty entertaining. I was pretty lucky though. Minor teen stuff for me. You will be great. You have a great sense of humor and that's what will get you through. Just keep laughing.Yes there is a lot less parental drama! I just dread all the teen drama that takes over!
Really makes education special and important!Oh and they did something new this year. They had the high school graduates who went to school at this elementary lead the procession. Graduation was last week but they were in full cap and gown. I thought that was pretty neat.
I thought they were maybe the first HS graduates that had attended there, it is a fairly new school. But that can't be right because Evan started 3rd grade there, and he will be a Senior this next year, so they had to have started 4th grade there.
I hope they continue that part of the tradition. Pretty neat.
Incredible scenery! Here are a few pics from our time in the Bighorns.
