Good to see you.Finished The Street Lawyer by Grisham last night. Fast paced and a good read. Thought I had started this one many years ago, but think I had it confused with a different book. Thanks for the rec osnafrank and Doc Creed !
Started MINE by McCammon. I don't think I've ever been so terrified by an opening chapter before! Wowza. This is only my third McCammon novel, LOVED Boy's Life, but Usher's Passing was not a favorite.
I finished last night, too. Paint-by-numbers for Grisham. I liked the story but it had so much potential to be like A Time to Kill. How would you rank it among his books?Finished The Street Lawyer by Grisham last night. Fast paced and a good read. If only I remembered A Time to Kill ! It's probably been over fifteen years since I picked up a Grisham book. I really enjoyed it, but definitely agree that it had more potential.I finished last night, too. Paint-by-numbers for Grisham. I almost didn't finish the first chapter either! Yikes. I'm almost afraid to read it though, because I just realized it's a first edition and looks like it was barely opened. Unfortunately it has a sticker on the page following the dust jacket, but otherwise it's perfect. You made it past the first chapter!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm looking forward to this one too. If anyone is into podcasts, Andy Burns did an interview on Dark Tower Radio, a cool King related podcast. It's definitely worth a listen.....ready to begin this....another autographed gem from my CD grab bag......
