Yes, it's all cement. There was a rebar in there and it broke right at the top of that, so I can sort of just a little bit put the bowl on and get it barely in that rebar channel. I'll look for this. THank you.

If you need to cut rebar then an angle grinder is your best tool to get the job done. You can get them for under $30 and everyone needs an angle grinder.:)
Or make the hole bigger so the rebar fits.

AGAIN, lagging behind in my social interactions.

Last week, started in Wyoming, drove to Florence, CO, to the Supermax, out to the airport and few to Austin, did some work, came back, a day in the hometown, a brain-wreck day in Denver, worked all weekend, and I'm back in Wyoming all week, looking at a blizzard coming in today, and Saturday I fly to India.

Golden years, my patootie. Yeesh.

So... everyone doing okay? Because I've got about enough time to post this and an earworm in another thread, then it's catchya later. :p

Was in Washington, DC for two days. It was an overnight showcase for students accepted into the university’s politics, policy and law scholars program. Seems only 12 potential students were invited and 11 showed up. The kids came from all over the country. The university put on a full court press for the students and parents trying to get these students to commit, and I think every one will based on the education they will receive, the prestige, and the connections they’ll make. They’ll each have to intern on Capital Hill at least three times, and each student is expected to study abroad at some point. I told my youngest she might want to intern with our US Congresswoman (who also attended this university), but she said she wants to shoot higher. It was evident by the help the students will get in special guidance, mentoring, and academic requirements the university pushes and expects their PPL scholars to become world leaders.

I also got to sit in a class on the electoral college history from the beginning to the election of 2016 presented by Ron Elving. He’s been a senior editor, correspondent and analyst for many years at NPR, and is the Executive in Residence in the School of Public Affairs at American University. (I’ve listened to him for years on NPR and have read many of his articles). An excellent lecturer and best class I’ve ever attended.
