.....I'm in a maelstrom of stress right now......worries about Dad, youngest son got himself in trouble again after a year of clean living and now sits in jail, nearly lost Tracy to a nervous breakdown over all the family stress-she's in counseling now, but I fear she may just cut ties to all of us-me included......just haven't brought all this here.....didn't want it to seem I was looking for pity.....
(((((Scott, Tracy, & Family))))) You have my number, Big Guy......call me anytime. I'm usually off work by 5 ♥

Life can sometimes suck, big time. Stay as positive as you can, given the circumstances. Thoughts and prayers sent your way.

you have friends and a sounding board here. It's easy for us to send you strength because it's what we do. And while none of us are in your daily life, we hope something we say will help ease your heart and mind, give you new insight or new strategies to try -- just showing we care and asking about you and your family is the definition of friendship. A lack of interest hurts and you won't get that here from most of us. A friend wants to be there for a friend. Never feel like reaching out for fellowship is a burden or a pity party.

You got this. One foot in front of the other every day. Tracy will climb this mountain with the help, strength and encouragement she is receiving from her therapist and you. She's overwhelmed and feeling dark but I hope the light shines on that pretty little face again soon. Your son is his own man now choosing his path. Standing on the sidelines helpless is the most anxiety producing thing ever. Sometimes we just have to let out a heavy sigh and give the course of our lives up to the universe.

I hope your daddy will rally for himself and for you.

You matter to us.

So, at noon on Friday, Feb 22nd I did walk out of the old salon. I took my things to the new salon and began setting up my station for work the following Tuesday. Everyone at the new place has made me feel so welcome and wanted. Even their clients who have never met me went out of their way to introduce themselves and make me feel welcome.
10 minutes after I left on that Friday, one co worker walked out, and then 3 others left on Tuesday.
The owner at the old place went to another salon and played the victim......told them that we all left because of her faith and we were non belivers......they bought her story and actually merged their business with hers, giving her a 1/3 share. Seriously, you can't make stuff like this up!
Funny thing is, they made every single change and improvement that we had all been asking for but were refused.
Most of my clients have followed me and love the new salon. It is comfortable, clean, and friendly. I have a key and can do my own thing. I slept better that Friday night than I have in 6 months. I am happy.
......and that's what I've been doing for two weeks!

It's very discouraging when people choose to side with and believe someone that has been nothing but sh*t. And it's frustrating and a bit unbelievable. You will have a great work space now and that's what matters.

If I can ask, what did the owner say to you when you handed in your resignation? Nothing? Beg you to stay? Call you names? Stand there with shock on her face as you twirled and gave her the bye bye felicia parting shot? And I'd love to know what she thought when the second girl walked out.

I don't get people. When someone proves themselves to be a certain way and is getting the same reaction from many people, what is the common denominator in that situation? Who is the pivot point? But, another salon chooses to side with her. They should've taken a closer look at her before becoming blood brothers. There must have been something they were getting out of this financially that made the benefits outweigh the risks or it's just bad business. Very bad business.

Congrats! Glad everything worked out and you're happy. Does that mean you're gonna be nicer to me? :)
