...*sigh* Yeoman Rand.....*sigh*...Oh, me, too. I was keeping the nice old lady next door company, and she would graciously let me watch Star Trek at her house. I'm sure she wondered WTH was it all about, but she watched. That episode came on, and she made an incredulous comment that I can't and won't repeat here, but she was old and white, and this was in the late '60s, and you get the idea. I did not mention that I kinda crushed on Uhura (and Yeoman Rand, when she was around).
Wow, I had forgotten about the SNL Buckwheat skit, that was great.ghost19 I missed putting the Reagan assassination attempt on my list but I remember that one too. Then of course SNL did their parody with Buckwheat ( Eddie Murphy) getting shot. That was hilarious!
Another fantastic SNL skit was when Steve Martin and Gilda Radner danced together. Everyone at first thought it was going to be something to laugh at, but after about 30 seconds we all realized that these two CAN dance! Now THAT was entertainment!!Wow, I had forgotten about the SNL Buckwheat skit, that was great.

Just thought of another one. Coming back from a cruise vacation, sitting in the airport, I found out that Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, had been killed by a stingray.

That family had (and still does have) such love shining in their eyes for each other. A rare sight indeed.^^^Yar, broke my heart when he (Steve) died.
