In Chuck we trust! Both me and my man are huuuuge Supernatural fans, and haven't missed one yet. The new season is getting pretty darn interesting, by the way.

I usually watch the entire season when it's available on Netflix, so I can't wait for the new episodes. The mythology of this show went to hell (pun intended) after Season 5, but for me it remains mandatory watching because of the two leads. The Winchester brothers are fantastic.

Attempted to make fajitas today....epic fail.......the raccoons that live under my shed came out to personally thank me for providing their supper tonight. The wonderful smell of scorched chicken meat is very prevalent throughout my house this evening. Isn't cooking more often supposed to make you better at it eventually???...lol

Those are some polite raccoons, I must say.

I'm pretty sure that's why they've stayed around for as long as they have. It's part of their tenant agreement, I provide at least two or three meals a week to them...lol

Okay, don't laugh, but I never saw an actual raccoon until a few years ago when I visited my sister in Florida. There was a family of them that used to visit her backyard every morning and I would have breakfast in the back porch so I could see them. I though they were incredibly fascinating animals except for the dad, who was kind of an a-hole. ;-D

LOL, I have a family of them that has lived under my tool shed for quite a number of years. I've been throwing scraps to them for a long time and I watch them from my patio which is about 25 yards from the shed. They won't come up to me or anything, but I think over the years they've figured out I ain't gonna hurt them. They'll come out from under the shed and watch me watching them. They are definitely interesting. I've seen at least four different ones this year, maybe more. Between the raccoons, the ground hog, and the psychotic squirrels that live in my backyard, there's a lot entertainment when I sit out on the patio...or it could be I'm just too easily entertained...lol

Low heat, slow cooking/frying. Have you tried using an electric grill? Each meat/ fish/ poultry has a set cooking time. Place it on the grill, lower the lid. Set timer, Presto perfect grilled chicken for the fajitas. Or a slow cooker- can't go wrong. Have every confidence you will get better at cooking. In the meantime, those coons will dine in style.;)

Fl is known for them. I have an old mama that will coo and knock at the front door. "I am here, any scraps".
They can be destructive, especially the younger ones. I have to grow my veggies in an enclosed dog run. They steal plants, statues, take flowers out of the pots. Had a land line phone man come once- he put his equipment down to go and ck the rd connection. I suggested that was not a good idea. Upon return, his meter was gone. A few summers later I found it in the deep woods.

LOL. I've never had the ones under my shed do anything destructive. My shed is right at my property border with the woods so they have a straight shot from the shed right into the forest. I have heard they can cause a lot of mischief....

My old, slow, ill tempered dog will run at them when she goes outside and then stop when all of them just stare at her like "Really?"

I'm on 10a of wooded land, just cleared around the home front. You name it, I have it. There is sign in the sky, and invisible to humans, "all critters welcome- free room and board". The only ones I fear are the rattle and coral snakes.

Aw, cool, I like snakes. Don't have coral snakes out here, at least not that many I don't think. Lots of rattle snakes though, especially where I used to live in southern Arkansas.
