26. The Crow (1994) A rock musician is brought back from the dead to avenge his and his girlfriend's murder. This movie is dark and creepy and full of action. It is also sad. Brandon Lee, the star of the film and Bruce Lee's son, was accidentally killed on the set during filming. The movie was a hit with the critics and at the box office at the time of its release and over the years it has gained a strong cult following.
27. State Of Emergency (2011)
A low budget zombie (technically not zombies because they are still alive so let’s just say, zombie-like) movie. There is not a lot of zombie violence and gore in this but there is plenty of tension. The movie is more character based than effects and violence based. A small group of survivors are holed up in a large warehouse waiting for help to get them out of the infected area. 7/10
I figure I speak for both Deej and I when I say You're welcome! Yes, I love The Innocents, as well as The Woman in Black. I highly recommend the book The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, which The Innocents is based on.32) The Innocents- Oh my gosh! Thanks Dana Jean and blunthead for the rec, because this movie was dang CREEPY! I scurried up the stairs after watching it, heart pounding It reminded me in tone of The Woman in Black (or I should probably say that TWiB reminded me of The Innocents) and The Others. So, so good! This will definitely go on my regular rotation when I want to creep myself out.
I prefer the original of the two versions, though the remake's not bad.22. Dark Water (2005). I like American versions of Japanese horror movies. Though, this one is not scary at all for me, I like stories about ghosts of little children
That's one I've never read, but I intend to do so nowI figure I speak for both Deej and I when I say You're welcome! Yes, I love The Innocents, as well as The Woman in Black. I highly recommend the book The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, which The Innocents is based on.
It's great. It's included among the books recommended in Danse Macabre. That's one I've never read, but I intend to do so now

Always. The fuzzing technique used on her camera shots is frightening!Does Murder She Wrote count?
I quite enjoyed that one! Have you watched the French TV series of the same name? No relationship, but interesting!28. The Returned (2013)
This one is more of a drama with zombies. A drug is being used to keep the zombie virus at bay so that the infected are leading normal lives. But as the supply of the drug starts to get low, panic and chaos set in. The uninfected are scared of the infected and there is the issue of who gets the drugs that are left and who doesn't? 6/10
