Hmmm, what can I say. Kids and clowns. Some interesting death scenes. Won't watch ever again.

"It seemed perfect - a new house, a new marriage, a child soon to be born. But when Sarah and Matt invite their friends to celebrate, the situation turns deadly as they enter a burned-out prison on a ghost hunt."

Starting the Halloween series this weekend. I bought the blu-ray set that has all of the movies and the Rob Zombie re-makes. These are still my favorite scary movies of all time. Just something about them..John Carpenter and the Rob Zombie versions, all great. Tonight Halloween and Halloween II.

I did do!!
Paranormal Activity, a repeat for me.
I enjoy this franchise immensely, although I have yet to see The Marked Ones (fifth movie, I think?)
I am in the minority though, most people don't like the home movie format. True to form, I've watched all of the extra info on this before: more difficult to produce and direct than you might think.

Some great film suggestions here.

Have not seen either of the Conjuring films yet. Can I admit something? For some reason, this franchise literally does scare me as indicated by the bits I saw of the first one.

I am going to try to watch one of my favorites, The Monster Club, an old Hammer-like film (don't think it is Hammer though, want to say Amicus; were those companies related at all, or do I not have the name correct?) with three tales. Vincent Price and John Carradine are in the in-between bits. Excellent atmosphere for Halloween.

All those Hammer like trilogies are on my halloween must see list. I love them. This year, I'm trying to watch at least 15 movies that I have never seen before, because I always go back to my loves and my list stays the same year after year.

But, I will also be watching this at some point.

I'm recording a few that I have not seen so far - I think this is the first year I have decided to go for it and try to watch a minimum of at least one scary/horror/comedy movie (or a combo of all three) every day in October!

Maybe I will watch two on the 30th as I don't want to be watching a movie when all the trick or treaters come around on Halloween night
