...nope, no hi-jinx here...Tracy will be getting ready for our belated Christmas tomorrow, with my son being home and I will be getting underfoot which I'm quite masterful at...today is also our 21st wedding anniversary-which I think we'll celebrate on Saturday when she has the day off work and the "get everything ready & nice" stressors are over for her....

Happy anniversary! 21 years, that's something! Here's to at least 21 more! :love_heart:

Our plans will be similar to skimom's. The neighbors at the end of our cul-de-sac have been doing last minute get-togethers on NYE now and then, so if they do, we might pop over there for a few minutes, but otherwise, we'll be likely listening to old tunes and playing games at home.

ghost19 - I hear ya on the survival thing. My guardian angel worked overtime when I was in my wild youth, so I try to give her a rest most of the time these days! LOL

Happy anniversary to the GNT and missus!!!

The husband and I will be spending the night home alone, just the way we like it. I bought a small steamed lobster, a few jumbo shrimp and some lump crab meat on the way to work this morning for a special little seafood cocktail tonight.

btw... We went to see a show on Broadway last night and the crowds in the Times Square area were horrendous. I can't even imagine what it would be like there tonight! Pretty much anywhere we would go in our immediate area (we are just across the Hudson River from NYC) will be crazy with drunken idiots, so no going out for us. In my youth though, as others have said, well, that was a different story all together!

Definitely. I used up ALL my luck during those years so I don't push it nowadays...lol

I'm glad it'snot just us staying home tonight. I have some truly awful memories of NYE. Drunk father picking fights, etc. Got better when I started babysitting. Had a few years of wild nights myself. Now, quite happy to be home with hubby and son and some movies. There may be suspicious beverages. Outside ti say happy new year to the neighbors and back inside. Bed not much later.

Another miserable stay-at-home old b'stard here! I gave up on partying years ago.

No doubt the old dribble will turn in early and I'll be sat up on my own reading Revival until the early hours of 2015.

Happy anniversary Scott and Tracy. Here's to another 21... if you live that long!;;D
