I agree with everyone's Avengers: Age of Ultron reviews! It was awesome! Immensely enjoyed it. The story was so complex and it had great character shifts and development from the first movie. It was pretty wild and dark. Only gripe I had was
all the romantic stuff between Hulk/Black Widow. It was a lot? Don't know why Joss threw that in there...:/
Comic books. Whedon knows and honors them (have you noticed that nearly every scene is framed like a comic book panel?). If you read them, you'll notice that a M/F team ALWAYS has at least one romance going on (at least I can't think of one that doesn't).
Banner is the only available major team member: Tony/Pepper, Thor/Jane, Cap/Carter (even if she's not there, he's still hung up on her & H-wood doesn't mess with female viewers that sigh over that), Hawkeye/wife (can't remember her name--lol). So... BW/Hulk.
:)

Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Most enjoyable. I actually liked the first one better, probably because it was a little less fantastical, but this one was good, and we really enjoyed the character development. If you like this genre, it's an awfully darn good watch. Glad to spend the money (although we did go to the matinee).

Don't wait past the first teaser in the ending credits. At the very end, there's nothing there. After the others, this was disappointing.

A movie about the 2009 Kentucky Derby Winner "Mine That Bird". Not a well done or sophisticated movie in any respect, but, because my husband and I watch all 3 races of the Triple Crown every year (and the Breeders Cup and other big races) it was interesting to us to see the story behind the horse, owner and trainer.

FLU-Korean germ movie. Very well done! It ranks with US germ movies (and I might have actually liked it better than Contagion). Funny, good action, suspenseful, and has the cutest little girl I've ever seen (lol). Just a gem. Found it on Netflix, if anyone is interested.

Perfect Sense-(2012) It looked like a dramedy, maybe, but instead it was a strange little sort of sci-fi movie. Most of the people on earth are slowly losing their senses (Smell, taste, hearing, sight, etc.). No one knows why. Ewan McGregor is a chef, Eva Green a scientist working on the problem, & they are developing a relationship. Weird little movie, pretty arty (reminded me a bit of Blindness). Ewan shows his nakkie bum (but when doesn't he), there are a couple of boob shots, and one 'tasteful' sex scene (for anyone who might be concerned about such things). Liked it, didn't love it.

Finally saw the 'Salem's Lot remake with Rob Lowe.

It was OK, I guess. Not the worst SK adaptation I've seen but far from the best.

Was not digging the narration. Annoyed me as much as Harrison Ford's narration in the theatrical version of Blade Runner.

Didn't like how they changed Mark Petrie's character or the whole sub-plot with Jimmy Cody and Sandy McDougall.

Rutger Hauer could have been so much better than he was. Same with James Cromwell. He could have brought some weight to Father Callahan.

I'd really like to see a theatrical adaptation that sticks close to the book. Give it to Guillermo del Toro to direct and I think you'd have a killer project.

Far From The Madding Crowd - decent adaptation of English Literary Classic
Spooks: The Greater Good - good British spy thriller with some action: spin-off from TV series (but no previous knowledge necessary)
The Age Of Adaline - romance masquerading as sci-fi (see also The Time Traveller's Wife)
