Hi! How was it? Did you like it?

I really liked it! The movies based off of Marvel Comic's have been very good...thus far (with the exception of the most recent Fantastic Four :barf:). All of the male eye candy did not hurt either and I'm a sucker for a good looking, smart a** ! Overall the film was jam packed with heroes but each one had their own unique part. The film's action scenes were AWESOME and during certain sappy parts, I actually cared (which for people who know me means a lot...in this age of social media and everyone sharing, I struggle to give a cr*p on a daily basis...;-D)

I would highly recommend seeing it! Also, I would recommend The Avengers Age of Ultron! I love James Spader....if I were to imagine a voice for the Crimson King...his would it! His voice is calm, yet creepy, still sexy but kind of deathy all at once! lol

Finally watched Blue Velvet in its entirety. Wow. All I can think of is
Frank saying "now it's dark" (shudder). I just want to know what he was huffing. It never explains. So weird...the lipstick scene with In Dreams playing on the Charger's radio.
"now it's dark' is a line that keeps popping up in the Lynch universe. The singer Julie Cruise (who sang on tons of songs for Lynch) whispers it at the beginning of 'Into The Night' from Twin Peaks.

Mmm, I am yet to see err..the dream one...ugh can't think of the name right now and too lazy to look it up. I am sure you know the one. I had to do a bit of background reading after I saw Interstellar the 1st time, wasn't sure I got it. So good and you're right - it improves with repetition.

Inception? Great film but do not watch under the influence of anything. It's hard enough to follow straight. :suspect:

Hey Dana Jean!

I looked it up on IMDb

Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014)

Illustrated upon the progress of his latest Broadway play, a former popular actor's struggle to cope with his current life as a wasted actor is shown.

The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance? Now I'm interested. I like Michael Keaton but am I going to think about making myself a hanging ornament from the nearest tree?

A difficult film to actually enjoy, but unbelievable direction.

Now You See Me 2 - enjoyable follow-up, great finale
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie - big screen follow-up to UK comedy series about dissolute PR woman and her friend: funny
The Legend Of Tarzan 3D - some potential, terrific apes and vine-swinging, but dark, washed out, dull, and Belgium.
I have been waiting for this movie forever!!!!! Here in the States it probably won't play in the theater so I'll have to wait till it comes out on dvd to see.

Just finished watching The Invitation.

The Invitation (Steaming on Netflix. IMDb gives it a 6.6)

While attending a dinner party at his former home, a man thinks his ex-wife and her new husband have sinister intentions for their guests.

It's a slow burn movie IMO. If you actually keep watching it...there's a pay off. :a24:
