The Rolling Stones Guitarist Keith Richards Calls Metallica And Black Sabbath 'Great Jokes' - Blabbermouth.net

Keith Richards is still a snob after all these years? If he's going to dis the current state of rock music (and it is in a sad place right now) he should at least call out contemporary bands. For crying out loud, Sabbath has been around almost as long as he and his geriatric bandmates and Metallica have been around for over 30 years! I'm not a huge fan of either but can respect their musicianship. Classy, Keef, real classy :hopelessness: I think he's fallen out of one too many coconut trees.........

Motorhead is playing in Orlando at the end of the month and I was thinking about going. This puts some hesitation in my decision. I'll monitor the next couple of weeks and see how he's doing before I decide.

I was in Oralndo for work earlier this week. Stayed at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. Nice place :)

December 12th for me. Will be my fifteen time seeing the Coop.

BTW, Iron Maiden's The Book Of Souls, released a few days ago, is a must-have!!!
August 29 was my second time......It was awesome! We're thinking of going to LA for the final last Crue show on New Year's Eve, but I found out that Alice Cooper isn't opening for them after Christmas.....Gotta admit, I was disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing him about as much as the Crue.

John Carpenter released an album called Lost Themes. Just picked it up on black marble vinyl. It's a limited run of 666 pieces

It's pretty good. Reminiscent of his scores for The Thing, Prince of Darkness, They Live, Christine, and In The Mouth of Madness. There's also more than a little of Goblin influence as well. Goblin did the soundtrack for Suspiria. That is a fantastic score.
