Good Easter morning ya"ll! We have family coming over around 11:30am for brunch and an egg hunt, then I'm going to nap. I'm making one of those breakfast casseroles with crescent rolls, sausage, eggs and cheese, and some hash browns, bacon, waffles for the kids, maybe if I can get off this computer I'll make some cupcakes. Enjoy your celebration - and if you don't celebrate, enjoy a peaceful day!

Hi HollyGolightly - I made some bran muffins with cranberries and orange rind. I even put some of those strawberries that come in the Special K with strawberries cereal - they are so cool - they feel like real strawberries but very lightweight - I am not sure how they freeze dry them.

I should take a picture - they look delicious.

So will it be the traditional ham for supper tonight?
This is the type I bought - it's only about three pounds so will not take long to cook.

I have to log off and take a bath. Son's GF Stephanie will be over for Easter supper and I have to go buy some apple sauce to go with the ham.

Last night I made some mashed potatoes and I guess I will find a recipe using leftover mashed or maybe splurge on something else while I am out.

My Mom used to have a big bone-in ham with potato salad but I am not up for that today.

Yum! That sounds delish! did you have to pick the strawberries out of the cereal or can you buy them like that? I love them too.
I am not doing dinner - I did brunch. All the people in this house can eat leftovers. I'll finish off the Prosecco.
