I'm very fond of both authors. I must have missed that Linwood Barclay. I'll be looking out for it. Echo Park is one of my favorite Harry Bosch books.

I've read one other Linwood Barclay book, "Never Look Away" and I enjoyed that. Amazon had a kindle daily deal a couple months ago that had 4 Barclay books for $1.99 each and I bought all four. "The Accident" is the first one of the four that I've started to read.

My favorite Linwood is Trust Your Eyes. Anew twist on every page.

Sheesh! You just started that yesterday!
One advantage to not having a job is copious reading time.... (And I couldn't put the book down!) ;;D

Did you like the 'twist' ending?
Yeah, I liked it but totally saw it coming because I looked up the bible scripture mentioned by Neil's brother at the beginning. "Chapter 12 verse 12." I assumed it was
in Revelation
, and I was right-- so I sort of ruined the ending for myself. Lol.

Well, I didn't see it coming at all. I liked that since I've done so much reading in the horror, thriller genre over the years. Koontz blindsided me!

just ordered "The Virgin Warrior - The Life and Death of Joan of Arc". Will be interesting to learn a little more about her. Know the basic facts of course but will be interesting to go a little more in depth.

Finished the second in the Sebastian St. Cyr series, When Gods Die. It was just okay...one of those books where there are so many characters and royal titles, that I lost track of who was whom. I really liked the first book too. :(
Now, after many years of hearing how great it is, I'm reading The Clan of the Cave Bear. About 50 pages in and really enjoying it so far.
