I think I'll name her Charlene!

The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
As I mentioned in the what did you do today thread, I'm currently on holiday in Ayia Napa, Cyprus and I found a surf shop on the way up to the town centre and I finally got myself a couple of Element t-shirts. Element is a skate brand that I just can't seem to find back home.

Then when I made it into the town centre I found a hard rock cafe so bought another t-shirt.

I know they won't be everyone's cup of tea but I think they're pretty cool.

You name your guitars? I shouldn’t judge I went through a phase where I named my pencils in elementary school.

I only name very special objects.

I named my last car Ginger (an Inferno Orange Metallic Camaro). I traded her though so I guess she wasn't that special!

I call my BMW Heidi. Because it's German and I have a thing for Heidi Klum, who is also German :p

So, i pulled the trigger and placed my custom guitar order with Charvel :smiley_simmons:

I'm going to call her the SwiftDog Special! She should be pretty sexy when finished :love_heart:

For any guitar nerds on the board, here are the specs:
San Dimas style HSS
Red metallic paint with matching headstock
Ash body
Maple neck (standard San Dimas specs)
Charvel locking tuners (chrome)
Stainless steel jumbo frets
Vintage style tremolo
Neck pickup- Seymour Duncan Cool Rails Strat Neck (White)
Middle pickup- Seymour Duncan Cool Rails Strat Neck (White)
Bridge pickup- Seymour Duncan JB Trembucker (reverse zebra)
Single volume (250k pot)
No load tone control
5 way pickup selector (standard Strat wiring)
Side mounted jack
Medium gauge strings (.011 - .050)
Hardshell case

Put the deposit down on it today. Now I have to wait 6 - 8 months for it to get built

For a custom guitar built to my specs the price was reasonable. Cost me slightly less than a new stock Gibson Les Paul Custom.

I'll share pics once she is built.
I think you should call her Kandi......:biggrin2:

Wear them well and enjoy your stay.

I've recently been stocking up on a bunch of different bird seed and suet, on clearance, for the winter. Since then our resident chipmunk (we call him Chippy) has been sneaking in through the back door of the garage when it’s opened and stealing seed. He now has become quite brazen... and when we open the big garage door and are sitting at the bar I built,, shooting the $hit, he will run in, go right past us, fill his cheeks full, and run back out. Scares the bejesus out of people at times. My patience is running thin.

He/she keeps chewing open the birdseed bags. They're now full of duct tape covering the holes. I have a bird feeder out back, easy for him to get to, that I keep full of seeds he can help himself to, but NOOOOOOO! Soon I will be exclaiming… THIS MEANS WAR! A good old fashioned range war is on the horizon and I have a black hat for such an occasion. Call me the The Gunslinger. :)
