The Broncos inexplicably won another one.

But Vance Joseph - oh, man. I like the guy. But at the end of the first half, my son and I are yelling, "Watch out for the fake field goal!" And the Steelers successfully ran it, boom, TD, and tied the score.

Coach Joseph said he didn't see it coming. Coach, everyone saw it coming.

Would y'all believe that I've stayed true to my promise not to watch any NFL games this year?
...Dang!....I was happy to be wrong about the Buckeyes rivalry game with Michigan....that was a corker, and my Bengals were a "dorker"....the Browns have finally landed a quarterback and the Bengals have landed in the toilet.....again......Fire Marvin Lewis for the luvagawd!!!!......

Alabama took care of business in the Iron Bowl Saturday. Tua really is something special. Alabama has become the second team since Yale's 1888 team to beat all of their opponents by 20 points or more during the regular season. Of course, Yale's team didn't allow a single point during their season, but I'm not sure if Yale quite faced the same level of competition as the Tide.

Either way, Alabama's season has to be considered as one of the all time greatest regular seasons in college football history. I just hope the same success can translate into the postseason starting this week against Georgia and hopefully onward.

Urban Meyer is stepping down at Ohio State after the Rose Bowl. He’ll probably take a year off then take the helm at USC.

Colt McCoy, who took over for an injured Alex Smith of the Washington Redskins, broke his leg last night. Mark Sanchez is the new QB. Poor Redskins.

NY Jets continue to suck! :(

The Deadspin headline for the Jets game article was "JETS OVERCOME 16-0 LEAD WITH THRILLING COME FROM AHEAD LOSS" :)

I even hate to say that the Broncos won again because they'll realize it and return to their ways. Had a big loss at corner, though, with Chris Harris, Jr., team leader and All-Pro caliber ending his season with a broken leg. Expect upcoming teams to pick on the newbie.

Phillip Lindsay is still the most exciting guy to watch in the league. That's a terribly uqualified statement to make, since I don't watch much football at all, but it's hard to imagine someone more exciting. Undersized, undrafted rookie, meager $15K signing bonus, walking on to the same team that he grew up cheering, living in the same house he grew up in, and he's running past blockers with wild abandon. If he continues like this, Elway got the football deal of the century. For now.

Meanwhile, the hometown college team, CSU Rams. Sigh. The u-prez apparently thought that a new quarter-billion-dollar stadium and the most expensive head coach in the league would make us a football powerhouse or something. Boy, that was a cruel piece of humor. Apparently, money doesn't buy you happiness or success. Well, I take that back - that money bought his success. He's now chancellor of the university system. The Peter Principle got exceeded or compounded or sumthin.

It''s been a bit nerve wracking to watch Meyer on the sideline at Ohio State, almost like he has a brain aneurysm and is ready to pop..too much pressure. He needs a real brain specialist to evaluate his cat scan..

They’re paying Lindsay peanuts for 3 years. If he remains on his current course Denver better up his salary or he might pull a Le'Veon Bell.

....as fans, we will miss him....he was and is a class act-despite some mistakes along the way....I truly hope he stays retired.....the arachnoid cyst in his brain isn't going to improve-so he needs to relax and enjoy the remainder of his days.......my Christmas wish is that the Bengals finally figure out what's wrong with the squad.....starting with the head dipwad....errr, coach.....

Pats beat the Vikings on Sunday.

Good game for the NE D. Looks like they have narrowed the Holland Tunnel scheme.

Offense was a little uneven but got the job done. The Josh Gordon experiment seems to be working for now.

On to Miami where NE has a propensity to vomit on their shoes.....

The Bengals will hire Hue Jackson :) (if the Dolphins don't steal him first :))
