Torrential rains this morning starting at 4 am. My septic system is out of order until we can get a few hours of clear space. I'm at work without taking a shower this morning. Thankfully, my office septic system is on higher ground. According to the weather report this morning, we could be in for a couple more weeks of this.
Yikes - how hot and humid is it right now? Sending a wee prayer that the weather passes over before the moss starts growing like in Creepshow! ((((fljoe0))))

It's not hot because I haven't seen the sun in over a week. ;-D That's really unusual for here. Even when we have periods of massive rain, usually, the sun will come out for a few hours in between downpours. It has been almost constantly overcast since last Monday.

You get the morning stuff, and I get the afternoon stuff. Heating from the sun makes for strong T storms. Stay safe. I considering building an ark. This is just the beginning. Will be watching a system brewing for the weekend in gulf. Here we go again............

This is the kind of thing that happens in September.

The Core Of Engineers is going to have to start dumping Lake O and killing our river.

I went outside to take the trash out last night, there were 4 mosquitoes standing out by the corner of the house, smoking cigarettes and wearing leather jackets. Pretty sure they were up to no good but I didn't dare take them on at 4 to 1 odds, especially with the humidity at about 190%....2 minutes outside and I got bit three times, they're brutal this year...

There is actual sunlight going on right now. I have to enjoy it because tomorrow it's supposed to get nasty again and last through next week.

Tonight, I'm going to try a mow whatever grass isn't underwater. When things are like this, you just mow what you can, when you can. ;-D I can hear the grass growing between thunder booms. I managed to cut some of it last week between rain storms and what I cut is already tall again.

Yes sun- real sun. Know what you are saying about the grass. I have places where the seed stalks are above my knees. Keep watch on track- no matter what it's going to be wet.
