Could someone send some rain to Finland. Here's been like in Sahara for almost a three weeks now and no rain in sign for my area at least this week either.
Sun and heat and heat and sun. 20 Celsius to 25 Celsius everyday. Tomorrow it's get cooler but the heat return to the weekend. There have been
wildfires around in the country these last days and they warn us when it's so dry now to not set any kind of fire anywhere, We have to be careful even when
we barbecuing. The rain is very welcome now. We complained a month ago that we want spring and jumped directly to summer that have continued in
three weeks now. So we should be happy.

I was sick on Saturday but still worked building onto the deck so it matched up with the pool for Memorial Day. Almost had heat stroke. Decided to take it easy for a little and do some mowing on the tractor. Got light-headed from not drinking water and jumped the tractor onto the landing and destroyed one of the wife’s large flower pots, which held the most beautiful and wonderful flower she ever owned (or so she claims). It was the end of the world according to the wife. I drank 4 bottles of water in a row after that and felt a bit better, especially after putting on the hearing protector earmuffs. :)

You definitely want to be drinking enough water. All of us of a certain age especially. Kidney stones love dehydrated people.

Just to add insult to injury, she took over water vac duty in the basement because I've got so much frickin' work to do.

How's it going? Pretty much cleaned up?

I thought I was sweating so much due to being sick, then I happened to notice the thermometer in my room said it was 30 Celsius (around 85 F). Even though it's only the end of May I decided to fire up the central air - wow - what a relief that was!

Still wake up with PJs that feel damp from sweating - I hope this is just a phase, as I am going through a lot of clothes.

Neesers, Reply isn't quoting your post, but how kind to have that in mind! Thank you.

The water intrusion is all dried out, and the Family Guys, including me, are going through the crawlspace and checking the foundation perimeter to see what can be done to mitigate future occurrences. That's been one of the reasons for the body venting its opera sessions in protest. I've been wheelbarrowing (don't noun verbs!) and shoveling (hey!) a big dirt pile that got dumped on our driveway this morning. Patch material for a big, satanically clever, critter hole by the foundation and under the back deck.

This is why old folks like me get condos. Let someone else handle this annoying stuff.

Try this - jump down to the empty post at the bottom (where you plan to type your stuff) and click on it - then go back up and push "reply" - it should pop the quote in for you. Hope this works
