Do-ya (frog whisperer)Sunday morning it was 57F at 7am. By 5pm it had dropped into the low 30s and projected to go into the teens overnight with wind chills near 0. Around that time, we noticed a little tree frog on on front porch who was barely moving. They love our front porch in the summer and mild times, hanging out by the light fixtures for best bug catching spots. Anyway, I bundled up and went out and picked up the little guy, breathed on him a minute or two until he got moving a bit, then put him under our porch where they usually winter. Poor little guy!! I felt pretty good about my rescue efforts!
Expecting a couple of feet of snow,at least, over the next three days, and more snow after as well...not loving it,my back is not taking it well shoveling snow..one thing about living down south, you don't have to shovel sunshine! Is everyone staying safe and warm? There are parts if the US that are colder than the North Pole, Antarctica and Alaska!!!!
Chilly here after some frost at sunrise. Should make 60 with full sun, before evening rain.
Be careful!!
I have a coworker who is leaving today to go to Iceland. It is supposed to be warmer there than it is here on Wednesday and Thursday! Is everyone staying safe and warm? There are parts if the US that are colder than the North Pole, Antarctica and Alaska!!!!
