How's The Weather?

In my younger days I was a very good windsurfer, even had my own board (although I sucked at regular surfing when I tried it in Florida and Hawaii). If I escape to somewhere warm I'd like to get back into windsurfing. Can you think of anything more sexy than and old guy in speedos jumping the waves on a windsurfer?

Easily, but first and then, speedos should be banned regardless of the age of the wearer. There is nothing sexy or even remotely attractive about them.

I did a mental "whaaa? and then chuckled" when the weaving instructor mentioned she'd been walking to the beach over the weekend. Scottsdale has canals and what they call a lake (looked more like a big pond to me). I was thinking more in terms of ocean beach as a comparison to Tahiti, but yes, lots of places to swim with beaches around the state. It really has a very diverse geography, not just desert landscape.

Amazing what some call a beach----- must admit the gulf has same awesome ones.

But, I digress. The weather today is gorgeous here. I'm looking out my "office" window at the swimming pool, palm trees, mostly blue sky with some clouds and the high forecast for 74 degrees.

LOL. There's one thing I'd like to understand about women... and it doesn't matter what... one thing... anything.

Actually, I don't think I could ever bring myself to wear a pair of speedos. Sensibility prohibits it.

-4 F feels like -24. Brrr. Day 3 of our frigid temps. Kids have an early release today, I thought maybe they would get a snow day because of the temps and the fact it is a short day, but nope. School is a go.

We've had snow and ice in Seattle. Nothing like what the Midwest has been grappling with (and, frankly, not as much as I'd like) but it has had the city turned upside down. Seattle gets snow so rarely that we're never truly prepared for it and don't have the infrastructure in place to function as usual which means SNOW DAYS! Today is our calm between storms so we're getting up to a balmy 37 degrees. The snow moves back in Friday and Saturday. HOORAY!

humid. about 30 degrees Celsius. I been sweating so I took a shower and feel better.

COLD!! Snowed Monday, up to a foot in some places, only lightly out here. Then cleared off and god frigid. More snow coming Friday then Sunday. The Puget Sound isn't used to this and, yes, y'all in the midwest and northeast get more but you're used to it. Seattle was built on seven hills and snow and ice get damn scary!

Because yes. Women can be bought with roses and diamonds. We are such vapid creatures. Why don't you buy her a new toaster and a yoke. Diamond studded, of course.
