There are parts of FL that certainly could use some of the extra flood water.Bad flooding here. Had to take a couple of detours this morning just to get to work. Several wrecks with injuries on the interstate due to people thinking standing water rules don't apply to their vehicles when they hit it at 70mph. Never ceases to amaze me. Slowing down is just not an option for some drivers.

Yes, this happened in August last year, but it had nothing to do with speeding. My county got about 6 inches of rain in less than an hour, and on my way to work, the water overtook me in my little Mazda RX-8. The rescue people had to get me out and my car was totaled. I was sad at first, but now I'm happy because I was able to get my Porsche. : )....it sure did buddy, she got herself into a hell of a mess....I remain thankful still that she wasn't seriously hurt.....
It was quite scary to see the photos you posted, but like you said - it turned to have a silver lining after all!Yes, this happened in August last year, but it had nothing to do with speeding. My only day off, and all it does is rain. And not a fun spring-weather, 'let's go downtown & prowl some old bookstores' type of rain, it's a nonstop torrential downpour. Help me Peabo Bryson, help me!!!
