This is a silly question but, is there any significance as to why Pennywise hair is down when she is taunting Eddie but it most of the time it sticks up?

I hadn't noticed this... might need a re-watch.
Her hair is also down in the projector scene as well. I'm thinking maybe when she is just playing around her hair is down but when she is actively trying to hunt the hair is up.
Also, the eyes are blue when It is being 'friendly' and then turn yellow or gold when It's going to harm.
I noticed the eyes, but not the hair. I cannot wait for the DVD to come out so I can do a full analysis on all of the subtlties and possible easter eggs!

Oh, I know. It just struck me as funny...I thought Pennywise was male and its true form was female. I dunno...I was being serious.

I assumed Pennywise was female as well, just based on the movie. I haven't read the book in a long time so have forgotten a lot. This has thrown me for a loop.
I've read the book at least twice but never made that connection. In the guise of the clown though, It appears to be male though. Correct?
Definitely male in the clown form. It's just another disguise though as it assumes (correctly) that most people are afraid of clowns, I guess.
