Great night in Louisville. Carmichael presented uncle stevie with a personalized Louisville slugger. He told great stories and a thunderstorm rolled in while he was talking, adding to the ambiance at the outdoor event. Thank goodness we were under cover and did not get wet. Yes, I got an autographed copy thanks to my son!

My time at the Nashville event last night was both heaven and hell. Just got home today (after planning to go home after Mr. King spoke). I will elaborate more later when not so exhausted. I am just glad to be home safe.
(Thanks not_nadine, for checking on me.)
Did you walk home? Should of called, someone would of picked you up.

I'd say the Steve part of the Louisville event went off mostly great. The only part I thought was a little strange was that they set up 4 mics for questions and at the Q&A time probably 60 people lined up to ask questions. You knew he would only take a few so why have all of those people line up and get their hopes up?

The book part was done poorly. They had a great plan to work their way through row by row but when the time came they threw it out the window and let the latecomers that got wet in the rain go first. It devolved into 2000+ people going every direction. It reminded me of a baseball game where they start the game and then say "do whatever you want" instead of sticking to the rules.

Overall though it was great to see Steve again, and he was his usual funny charming self. No signed book again for the 4 of us (we struck out on the Revival tour too) but maybe one day.

Moderator , is there something going on with the SLC event? It's no longer on The King's English website, not included on their 'events this week' email, and it's not even searchable on their website. It's like the event never existed. Worries me a little, I have to admit.
If there is, they haven't told us. ;-D Maybe since it's sold out they took it down as they might have still been getting calls about it. That's just a guess on my part.
