I am so tired of all the nit-picking on the MB lately.

Maybe it's just my headache talking, but sometimes I feel like asking Marsha to shut this place down during the weekends, like it used to be when everyone was moderated full time.

There is Spring Break, school closes for the summer months (in most countries), workers get vacation time.....mayhap the time has come for a "break" for the SKMB. A time to reflect, relax and rejuvenate. A time to step back and be POOH---- who just is.
The SKMB is a gift. We are guests in SK playground. The moderators go above and beyond. Mayhap we do need a little downtime.
Just my humble opinion.

I have been around since this board was basically like a chat room. I appreciate the intent in your message Scott, but I'm struggling with the way it is written. I truly mean no offense, and I actually support the idea of a shutdown but I think that decision should be left entirely to the moderators.

Scott, sometimes feelings get hurt. It is not always about childish happenings. People have feelings and sometimes they feel slighted or they feel like they are the subject of contempt. Just the way it is. I do think the board will survive but the going has been a bit rough lately....for various reasons. All I can say is I have been here a long time and I wish to keep the lovely folks who have been there for me for so very long. They are the go-to people when I am truly down. We love each other and have for many years. End of my two cents lol.

You remember correctly, Staro. Many of us were member way before the date/year shown now. As Byras said- when it was almost a chat room, one long page and you needed to remember the post # in order to reply. Fun times.
