...TWSS!....
Thank you for the welcome! We actually finished watching it tonight. It's rare that he and I enjoy the same things (oppositional teenagers). Come on kid, it's got Nick Cage, John Malcovich, John Cusac, and Steve Buscemi! I've seen it a million times but I'm one the re-watch.Hi!
I haven't welcomed you to the board yet. Say sorry. WELCOME!!!
I like Con Air very much and it only took me a few years to figure out why it was called CON Air.
In the process of watching Jack Nicholson in Five Easy Pieces. I've never seen this one. Watching Jack is mesmerizing, so that's what's keeping this interesting and the fact there are a lot of recognizable faces.
First was Five Easy Pieces with Jack Nicholson. He was really good in this. This was my first viewing ever of this classic.
Second, Wait Until Dark. I remember seeing this one as a kid and being so frightened! Quite terrified. Not so much now. Didn't twist my gut like the first time.
The Dinner
Italian film based on best-seller of the same name. Book and movie were just okay.
Yes, a few pages back there is a discussion about this. I seem to be alone on liking it.Hey, Dana Jean !
Have you seen Hush ? (Netflix)
A deaf writer who retreated into the woods to live a solitary life must fight for her life in silence when a masked killer appears at her window.
I think you might like it.
I am recording Cape Fear.
The one with Robert Dinero. Not sure if this is the best version or not, but it has a great cast.
I haven't seen the original with Robert Mitchum (I think) , but I remember liking the Nick Nolte oneI am recording Cape Fear.

Makes you look at thumbs in a different light, doesn't it?It's a good movie and a great cast. The 1962 version with Gregory Peck, Polly Bergen and...(Dahmit. I'm not sure.) Robert Mitchum (?) was also good, IMO.
What I really enjoyed in the Robert Di Niro version was Juliette Lewis as the daughter. No spoilers, promise.
Oh lord. Do I want to know?Makes you look at thumbs in a different light, doesn't it?
Yes.....it's nothing filthy, just a very erotic scene between De Niro and Lewis. Was quite scandalous when it (the movie) came out.Oh lord. Do I want to know?
