Well, I'll never see RV's the same again.

That's the UK cover, I have the US one (I'm i the UK too).Wow, I love that cover. Never seen that one before.
Ugh. Boswell and his damn Johnson. No, sir, that simply WILL not do. I hear the pompous old bird in my dreams, his brilliant pronouncements always preceded by his name, all caps, followed by a hyphen, as such: JOHNSON-. Like that, then some long winded, perfectly worded declaration of utter genius. Can't remember none of 'em, of course, but that's how they pop up in my dreams, driving me half bugdung.
Think it's time to start Revival, finally; give old powder Whig a break.
I loved Boswell's Life of Johnson. Blew through it in a short stretch of time. Three days or so. A while ago though.

Three days? Hoo, and I thought I was a fast reader.
Yes i have heard good things about the movie but the book.... Was great until two thirds were gone and then made a dive in the third. A disappointment considering how it begins.
I'll definitely pick that one up if I ever see it in any of my usual used book haunts around town. Have a good week. That's the UK cover, I have the US one (I'm i the UK too).
I'm working through "22/11/63" on my new Xmas Kindle
Yeah I agree, an amazing ending to an amazing bookWow, that ending. Not a dry eye in the house.
Were you in "the klink"?It was at a time when I could devote the vast majority of my time to straight reading.
